This year the Charleville Cup Festival collaborated with the QANTAS Mail Flight Centenary Celebration to create a special occasion for the whole community.  Our annual Sunset Picnic Markets were relocated to the Airport and were the backbone of an afternoon filled with food, fun, music, activities, commemorations and celebration.  It was a one-of-a-kind extravaganza commemorating the proud history of QANTAS and the Charleville community.

Attendees enjoyed:

• Food and arts & crafts stalls galore;

• A real flight simulator kindly on loan from the Royal Flying Doctor Service;

• Commemorative photographs and memorabilia kindly on loan from the QANTAS Founders Museum in Longreach;

• Guest speakers;

• Live music by Toowoomba band "Special Guest"; and

• Various other activities and competitions held throughout the afternoon.
